Digital Workshop: Concept Board

Today in this workshop I will be creating concept board for my project this term, I will be doing this in photoshop.

I have opened Photoshop, I will start be making a canvas I did this by just clicking on 'File' in the top menu and 'New', I then clicked on 'Print' in the top menu of the dialog box and the I chode A3 in vertical orientation I checked it was 300 resolution and it had a white background.

I then wanted add image as a background for my concept board. I chose an image form Unsplash, downloaded as the largest size. I then went back  to photoshop clicked on 'File' in the top bar menu and then 'Open' I then selected the image  by clicking 'Select' in the top menu and 'Select All' I then clicked on 'Edit' in the top menu

My next step was to add text so I clicked on the 'T' tool on left side menu . I then clicked on the canvas and changed the font that suit my collection the case of the design board.

For the title and subtitle I used Baskerville Old Face font, I changed size of title to 72pts and subtitle to 36pts, also i changed colour to blue-magenta. I used ... lines to move text into top-middle side of my canvas.

Then I opened drawing picture and removed background by clicking on flout menu under the picture, next I used 'crop' tool from left side menu and removed unneeded parts of it. Then i copied same way as before and pasted into my canvas, I moved it around to the left side.

Furthermore I pasted my logo i made before and move it to the right-bottom corner of my canvas, I decided to change colour of my text to the same as my logo, for this I clicked on my title, then colour box and used eyedropper tool and clicked on logo. I replead the process for my subtitle. Also moved the text to top left corner for better visual effect.
