Further Development - Gondola Swing

 To further development I created hanging system for the gondola, sketch it and turned to 2 perspective drawing and painted with watercolours. From this point I knew that it will required bearings, so I planed that solid stainless steal roller diameter will be 25mm, thick enough to hold gondola, they users and all the powers interacting. Next I research a type of the bearings needed, however I cant get one answer, so I turned into AI which suggested sealed option, which keep moist out and prevent from corrosion, also full complement bearing to better holding the weight.



I found 6005-2RSH SKF Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing 25mm inside x 47mm outside x 12mm wide, and on its specification I designed simplified version in Solidworks software. On picture below its visible inner and outer ring with measurements.





After designing all elements including shields I changed appearance type of material (chrome stainless steel and rubber), what give realistic look. Also created blow up view.




I repeated the process for swing hanger with bearings based on the main drawing. In assembly I put all the elements together and to better visualisation make another blow up view.







For this part I designed frame, I included all parts and took 3D view shot, also added measurements of the frame.
